Who is this new Pharaoh in Egypt?

Who is this new Pharaoh in Egypt?

Egypt, in our glorious production of JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT, has a new ruler! A breath of fresh air that breathes new life into the dynamic of the piece.
The man, of course, is none other than Anton Luitingh.
Anton has worked in, as a performer, or on, as resident director,  almost every large-scale production presented in this country. From The Rocky Horror Show and CATS to Jersey Boys, Beauty and The Beast to ANNIE. He has performed extensively internationally and has been nominated regularly for his performances in every theatre award program in this country.

This is a revisit to the role for Anton as he was the alternate Pharaoh in our 2004/5 production of this fast paced, energetic feel-good musical for the whole family.

He is also the Co-Founder and Co-Director of The Musical Theatre Workshop. A program geared to hone the talents of, and groom our young, up and coming musical theatre stars.

We welcome Anton to the cast and wish him a fun-filled season in JOSEPH and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

JOSEPH ends it’s season this Sunday 29 January and moves straight on to Port Elizabeth for a very short season before moving on to Cape Town at The Theatre on The Bay where it will play until 8 April. This production then goes on a 3 City tour to New Zealand!
World Class theatre on our doorstep!
